I take a compaq presario cq60 and I want to restore it to factory settings. I continually press F11 when I turn information technology on but nix happens except windows starts normally. What can I exercise?

hi Nikolay. My uncle gave me his sometime laptop for christmas and he had installed over the original windows vista, windows 7. He did the installation himself and he says he did not salvage the recovery sectionalization. Tin can I retrieve it from his previous OS? What can I do?

If it`southward custom install - nothing you can do but Clean Windows Setup
If no Recovery HDD partition left and no Recovery DVD created ....... you have no other option just Clean Windows Setup from DVD or USB.

After you log in look for HP Recovery Media Creation tool
Create Recovery DVD`s
Reboot & Kicking from DVD and follow the Recovery wizard.

If it`s custom install - nothing y'all can do just Make clean Windows Setup
If no Recovery HDD partition left and no Recovery DVD created ....... you have no other option but Clean Windows Setup from DVD or USB.

I practice non know if you have solved the problem, merely press fn and the f11 and so it should work, the fn itself is similar an on/off switch
